What are some of the terms with SR22 insurance?

Bob,
One of the terms is if the policy is ended, gaps, lapse of coverage, etc… the Texas SR22 filing requires the insurance company to immediately notify TX DPS. Upon notification of such an occurrence the Texas DPS will promptly suspend the drivers driving privileges and TX drivers license.
Also this insurance usually last for up to 3 years. Sometimes a heavy fine, with community service, and even jail time may be required. But if after 3 years if you have not been arrested or convicted of any other crime then your insurance should go back to a normal cost for coverage.
